Job summary

Balyasny Asset Management L.P. is seeking a Senior Associate, Investment Compensation in New York to manage and improve compensation-related processes for portfolio management.

You will drive year-end payout activities, develop dashboards, and collaborate with legal and business development on analytics and contracts. The role requires strong analytical abilities, Excel expertise, and experience with ICM/SPM systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting, banking, compensation, or corporate finance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining ICM and/or SPM systems (Anaplan, Varicent, Xactly) preferred.
• Hedge Fund and investment manager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the year-end portfolio management compensation process.
• Lead or assist in projects for dynamic reporting, dashboarding, and financial modeling.
• Enhance the PM payout automation process with system and reporting improvements.
• Partner with legal to review complex employment contracts.

In the role of Senior Associate, Investment Compensation, the employee will be responsible for the following:

• Assisting with the year-end portfolio management compensation process (preparation and review of year-end payout sheets)
• Leading or assisting in projects to improve dynamic reporting, dashboarding, and financial modeling
• Key player in enhancing the PM Payout automation process (system and reporting enhancements)
• Partnering with legal to review complex employment contracts
• Partnering with business development to produce compensation related analytics as requested
• Partnering with various groups across the business to assist in compensation related planning (comp structures, mock payout calculations)
• Helping support the strategy business leads with compensation planning and requests.
