Job summary

FPC Franchise is seeking a dynamic Compensation Manager to lead executive and corporate compensation programs in the United States. Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, HR or related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive compensation experience, incl. executive compensation and equity.
  • Strong analytical, modeling and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Job description

Seeking a dynamic Compensation Manager to oversee executive and corporate compensation for an industry leader.

In this vital role, you will lead the design, administration, and analysis of executive and corporate compensation programs. This position supports executive compensation initiatives, oversees equity plan administration, manages annual merit and incentive cycles, administers the SuccessFactors compensation module, and maintains the organization’s job architecture and compensation framework.

Working closely with Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and senior leadership, you will help ensure compensation programs remain competitive, compliant, performance-driven, and operationally efficient.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Support the design, analysis, and administration of executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, and long-term incentive plans
  • Prepare analyses, presentations, briefing materials, and supporting documentation for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and external advisors on the annual proxy statement, including Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A)
  • Support executive compensation disclosures and related schedules
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and governance best practices affecting executive compensation
  • Oversee equity compensation programs, including grants, vesting, exercises, distributions, recordkeeping, reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Lead annual merit increase and bonus planning for Corporate Headquarters, including budgeting, modeling, manager guidance, and executive reporting
  • Serve as system owner for the SuccessFactors compensation planning module, including configuration, testing, workflows, reporting, and user support
  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analyses and help maintain competitive compensation structures
  • Support company-wide incentive and recognition programs
  • Maintain job descriptions, job architecture, salary structures, and internal equity frameworks
  • Perform compensation modeling, cost analyses, and scenario planning
  • Maintain data integrity across HRIS, equity administration, and compensation systems
  • Ensure compensation programs comply with applicable federal, state, and international regulations
  • Support compensation and equity-related audits and maintain audit-ready documentation
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of progressive compensation experience, preferably including executive compensation and equity administration
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Equity Professional (CEP), or similar certification
  • Experience with SuccessFactors compensation planning modules or comparable HRIS platforms
  • Experience preparing Compensation Committee materials and supporting proxy disclosures, including CD&A
  • Knowledge of executive compensation regulations, equity plan administration, and corporate governance best practices
