Job summary

KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Valuations practice in New York. You will perform industry analyses, assess peer companies, and evaluate business plans while supporting due diligence and benchmarking activities.

Responsibilities include training junior staff, building valuation models (DCF, guideline public company, and transaction methods), drafting reports and presentations, and presenting analyses to engagement teams, clients, and auditors.

Qualifications

  • Three years of valuation experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Perform industry research including comparable publicly-traded companies and similar M&A transactions.
  • Participate in due diligence meetings, evaluate business plans, and perform financial statement and benchmarking analyses.
  • Train, develop, mentor, and direct the efforts of new associates.
  • Prepare and review valuation and spreadsheet models (DCF, guideline public company, and transaction methods).
  • Draft and review reports, proposals, and executive presentations.
  • Present analyses and conclusions internally to engagement teams and externally to clients and auditors.
