Job summary

KPMG LLP in New York seeks a Manager to lead our Valuations practice, delivering business and intangible valuations for M&A, financial reporting, and regulatory needs. You will design engagement scope, oversee daily activities, ensure quality, manage risk, and nurture client relationships.

You will mentor staff, contribute to business development, and review third-party appraisals for audit support. A strong accounting/finance background and ABV credential are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of valuation experience in a professional services firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics/business.
• Licensed ABV or equivalent credentials; must obtain within one year if not present at hire.
• Experience with business and intangible asset valuations and related analyses.
• Strong written/verbal communication; ability to mentor staff.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver business and intangible valuations for M&A, financial reporting, tax, and regulatory purposes.
• Design scope of work, oversee day-to-day activities, ensure quality control and risk management.
• Build and maintain client relationships; assist in business development.
• Review third-party appraisals for audit support purposes.
• Supervise and mentor staff; provide timely feedback and training.
• Collaborate with other practices to cross-sell services.
