Job summary

Oaktree, a Brookfield affiliate, seeks a results-driven finance professional to join its Global Private Debt operations in New York. The role focuses on cash and liquidity forecasting, capital planning, and modeling across private credit funds and BDCs.

You will build and maintain detailed financial models, optimize capital calls and facility usage, and partner with Investment Operations and Capital Solutions to drive fund performance and strategic decision‑making.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in a relevant role, including dedicated experience in private credit.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in cash, liquidity and capital forecasting across funds and accounts.
• Perform day-to-day forecast updates and analyze cash requirements.
• Optimize timing of capital calls, distributions, borrowings and repayments to drive fund returns.
• Continuously improve forecasting tools and processes.
• Assist with overall capital planning and leverage management for our private credit platform.
• Assist with optimizing credit facility design and usage across our private credit funds.
• Partner with Capital Solutions team to assist in the planning and execution of financings (e.g., subscription credit facilities and asset-backed credit facilities).
• Build and manage financial models to support these efforts.
• Help drive technological and operational improvements in this area.
• Assist with building and maintaining fund models to help drive strategic decisions. Examples include: Earnings, leverage and liquidity forecasts for our business development companies ("BDCs").
• Ongoing projections for all Global Private Debt funds to evaluate performance against targets.
