Oaktree, part of Brookfield, seeks a senior corporate finance attorney with a strong background in lending and private debt. You will negotiate, draft, and close complex loan documents, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with tax and accounting teams.

Experience in cross-border financing and asset management is valued. The role offers a competitive base salary, discretionary bonus incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package with a flexible work arrangement.

Competenze

• 7+ years of legal experience at a top 100 law firm with emphasis on finance.
• Experience with sponsor lending, non-sponsor lending and syndicated facilities.
• In-house candidates should have 5+ years in a credit-based investment team.

Mansioni

• Provide corporate finance legal advice with outside counsel and investment professionals.
• Negotiate and execute portfolio company investments in credit-based deals.
• Prepare and review loan documents including term sheets and credit agreements.
• Mentor and train junior members of the legal team within Global Private Debt.
• Assist with closing investments and coordinate with operations, accounting and tax.
• Research market trends in private credit and cross-border transactions.
