Job summary

Meta seeks an Associate General Counsel for Monetization Partnerships to provide strategic legal guidance across monetization products and services, supporting business development, platform integrations, and enterprise partnerships. The role collaborates with Product, Engineering, Privacy, Policy, and other Legal teams to address regulatory issues and risk while enabling growth.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. state or equivalent foreign bar license.
• 8+ years of relevant technology transactions experience at or for technology companies.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing technology deals in support of business development and sales teams.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with product, engineering, privacy, and policy teams to evaluate legal risk and drive decisions.
• Experience communicating complex legal and business concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders, including developing comprehensive long-term approaches to key partner relationships and commercial aspects of products and programs.
• Draft, negotiate, manage, and close complex product and commercial transactions, including bespoke technology integrations.
• Lead and support 0→1 strategic partnerships, enabling new products from inception through launch.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve novel legal and regulatory issues.
• Administer and resolve legal issues and contract interpretation matters arising in existing commercial relationships.
• Build scalable processes, templates, and playbooks for evaluating and executing sophisticated partnership opportunities.
