Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced transactional attorney to serve as Associate General Counsel supporting platform, AI, and media partnership initiatives across Meta's Family of Apps. You will work with partnerships and business development teams to structure, draft, and negotiate contracts with technology partners and media companies in support of Meta's consumer-facing product initiatives.

You will advise clients on legal risks, business strategies, and other issues related to commercial transactions,

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and bar admission in at least one US state.
• 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, including in-house with media/tech or comparable law firm practice.
• Experience drafting technology integration agreements and licenses for distribution of content on digital media platforms.
• Knowledge of IT, digital media, and AI landscape, including media-focused tech and consumer AI products.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice and day-to-day support to internal stakeholders, focusing on Partnerships and Business Development teams and high-impact platforms, AI, and content initiatives.
• Serve as a legal SME in technology and media-related transactions.
• Draft, negotiate, and close complex technology and content partnerships, including platform integration, data collaboration, and content licenses.
• Collaborate with product, privacy, IP, Product Counsel, and Competition teams to address novel legal and commercial contracting issues.
• Develop scalable processes for evaluating and executing sophisticated partnership opportunities.

Education

J.D. degree or foreign equivalent; bar admission in at least one US state
