Job summary

Meta seeks an Associate General Counsel for Monetization Partnerships to provide strategic legal guidance on commercial and technology transactions across monetization products and services. You will draft, negotiate, and close complex deals and partner with Product, Engineering, Privacy, Policy, and other Legal teams to address regulatory and business risks.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
• ability to promptly obtain permission to practice law where the role is based
• 8+ years of relevant technology transactions experience
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing technology deals to support business development and sales teams
• Experience managing numerous projects and deals simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with product, engineering, privacy, and policy teams to evaluate legal risk and drive decisions

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice and day-to-day support to internal stakeholders, including developing comprehensive, long-term approaches to key partner relationships and to the commercial aspects of our products and programs
• Draft, negotiate, manage, and close complex product and commercial transactions, including bespoke technology integrations
• Lead and support 0→1 strategic partnerships, enabling new products and features from inception through launch
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve novel legal and regulatory issues
• Administer and resolve legal issues and contract interpretation matters arising in existing commercial relationships
• Build scalable processes, templates, and playbooks for evaluating and executing sophisticated partnership opportunities
