Elevance Health is seeking an Associate General Counsel Senior to serve as the primary legal expert on MHPAEA, guiding the enterprise to maintain compliance and respond to regulator investigations. The role collaborates across business and Compliance teams to ensure timely, accurate access to mental health services and related regulatory actions.

• Requires a JD, current license to practice law and minimum of 15 years of specific industry and/or technical legal experience post licensure including experience in managing outside counsel; or equivalent background.

• Create legal strategies and assess risks to support MHPAEA compliance.
• Advise leadership on parity issues and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate responses to federal and state audits and investigations.
• Review cost of care initiatives impacted by parity.
