Job summary

Elevance Health seeks an Associate General Counsel Senior to lead regulatory and strategic legal guidance on securities, public company reporting, and complex financing transactions in Indianapolis, IN. This role partners with Finance, Investor Relations and Tax to support enterprise objectives.

The candidate will advise executives on high-stakes, time-sensitive matters, manage outside counsel, and drive policy and governance across the enterprise. Hybrid in-office requirement applies.

Qualifications

• JD and a minimum of 15 years of industry-specific legal experience post licensure, with outside counsel management.
• Extensive experience advising a large public company on securities-law compliance and SEC reporting.
• Deep knowledge of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Section 16 reporting and related SEC requirements.
• Strong ability to provide practical, business-oriented counsel to executives on complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise on securities law compliance, public-company reporting, and capital-markets transactions.
• Lead or coordinate cross-functional teams with Finance, Tax, Investor Relations, and Treasury.
• Oversee outside counsel and manage budget for significant financing matters.
• Provide strategic counseling on high-risk, time-sensitive matters with enterprise impact.
