Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to identify, structure, and lead novel strategic partnerships that advance business objectives.
• Independently lead legal negotiations of key customer agreements with senior sales leadership.
• Experience coordinating cross-functionally with Finance, R&D, and Procurement.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, able to explain legal concepts to non-lawyers.
• Sound judgement balancing legal and business risk with escalation when needed.
• Experience mentoring team members while leading strategic initiatives.
• Minimum 12 years of legal experience, with in-house experience required.
• Experience with complex technology transactions, SaaS; healthcare and data privacy knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead drafting, review and negotiation of key strategic and commercial agreements.
• Directly manage and mentor the Legal team, overseeing workload, performance and growth.
• Provide primary legal support for strategic initiatives including AI tool implementations and new revenue models.
• Establish and implement legal team processes, templates, and compliance with regulatory updates.
• Advise on legal issues related to new product offerings and integration into contracts.
• Counsel internal clients on legal risk and mitigation.
