Job summary

Achievement First is seeking a Senior Associate of Development to join our Development team in New York. The role focuses on managing a portfolio of foundation partners and drafting grant proposals to support AF's mission of educational equity.

You will work with the Director to nurture long-standing funding relationships, coordinate across AF's schools and departments, and track fundraising activity in Salesforce while organizing donor events to engage supporters.

Qualifications

• Draft grant proposals and reports for foundation funders.
• Manage a portfolio of foundation partners and cultivate relationships.
• Coordinate fundraising activities and donor communications.
• Track fundraising activity in Salesforce and ensure timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Director to manage school-based grants process and reporting requirements.
• Support and coordinate DonorsChoose District Partnership.
• Serve as a point of contact for school-based donors, foundations, and schools.
• Communicate with schools to stay updated on grant progress and opportunities.
