Job summary

Achievement First is seeking a Senior Associate of Development to manage a portfolio of foundation partners and support fundraising for educational equity. You will draft grants, coordinate with AF schools and departments, and track activity in Salesforce, while helping with events and donor communications.

The role is hybrid, based in AF's Network Support offices, with travel to regions as needed and a focus on building long‑term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, non‑profit management, business, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in grant writing, fundraising, and/or private philanthropy.
• Experience with CRM database management for nonprofit organizations.
• Experience with MS Office or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of school‑based donors, foundations, and grants.
• Draft grant proposals and reports; coordinate across AF schools and departments.
• Track fundraising activity and deadlines in Salesforce.
• Support donor and organizational events and school visits.
