Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate for FCM Operations in the US market. You will own exception management for cash, positions, trades, and margin, and drive readiness for new product launches while ensuring regulatory alignment.

You will collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, and Engineering to design scalable controls, reporting, and incident response. A strong focus on automation and AI-assisted workflows is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services or fintech operations with FCM, broker-dealer, or listed derivatives experience.
• Analytical problem-solving in exception-based operations with strong prioritization and escalation judgment.
• Experience in product launches and operational readiness, including requirements gathering and go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Own exception management across cash, positions, trades, and margin with triage, investigation, resolution, and durable fixes.
• Lead operational readiness for new product launches, including UAT/test case design and post-launch stabilization.
• Partner with Product, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, and Engineering to design scalable processes and reporting.
• Establish monitoring and reporting frameworks (SLAs, KPIs, dashboards) with clear escalation paths.
• Drive root cause analysis and post-mortems, translating learnings into improvements.
• Identify and implement automation to reduce manual work and friction.
