Coinbase is seeking a Senior Associate, FCM to support back-office operations across US Futures, Prediction Markets, and Options. You will own exception management, triage, and ensure scalable derivatives infrastructure for launches, working with cross-functional teams to implement durable fixes.

In this role you will partner with Product, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, and Engineering to design processes, establish monitoring with SLAs and KPIs, and drive post-launch improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services or fintech operations with FCM, broker-dealer, or listed derivatives experience.
• Demonstrated analytical problem-solving in exception-based operations with prioritization and escalation.
• Product launch and operational readiness experience including requirements gathering, UAT, playbooks, go-live support.
• Effective cross-functional partnering with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance in fast-moving environments.
• Working knowledge of listed derivatives and interest in blockchain/cryptocurrency markets.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver outputs and improve workflows.

Responsabilités

• Own exception management across cash, positions, trades, and margin, including triage and durable fixes.
• Lead operational readiness for new product launches, covering UAT/test cases, playbooks, cutover plans, and post-launch stabilization.
• Partner with Product, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, and Engineering to design scalable processes, controls, and reporting.
• Establish monitoring and exception reporting frameworks (SLAs, KPIs, dashboards) and run incident triage with escalation paths.
• Drive root cause analyses and post-mortems to translate learnings into improvements.
• Identify and implement automation and tooling to reduce operational friction and manual work.
