Job summary

ICON is a construction technology company expanding into defense infrastructure. We seek a Capture Lead to drive federal opportunities with DoD components and guide bid campaigns from validation through gate reviews and negotiation.

You will build a robust federal pipeline, pursue design-build, OTA, and IDIQ opportunities, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to meet UFC requirements and deliver briefs for senior officials.

Qualifications

• Experience leading federal capture and proposal efforts.
• Ability to build and shape opportunities before release.

Responsibilities

• Expand ICON's presence across DoD, including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and National Guard.
• Build and maintain a high-quality federal pipeline and shape opportunities before release.
• Lead capture end to end, from validation through gate reviews, proposal development, and negotiation.
• Pursue design-build, OTA, and IDIQ opportunities across MILCON and defense technology.
• Cultivate relationships with USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC, DIU, AFWERX, and service commands.
• Deliver briefings and white papers for general officers and senior civilian officials.
• Conduct competitive analysis to guide capture strategy and product roadmap.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Regulatory teams to align solutions with UFC and requirements.
