The role balances client engagement with delivering robust cost and schedule reporting.

You'll drive recruitment, bid work, and develop leadership in NR North, collaborating with cross-functional cost centres and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Natural Resources and New Energies experience.
• Business development experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of strategic resource management.
• Adaptability and resilience.
• Evidence of established leadership approach.
• Knowledge of reputational, commercial and financial risk.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• PMO experience in planning and project controls, ideally in NR/NE.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Office applications.
• Aberdeen market knowledge advantageous.
• Digital PMO knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Client facing, stakeholder engagement with key clients in Natural Resources and New Energies.
• Team development across planning and controls, cost management, project management.
• Lead on Manchester recruitment with SLT support.
• Proposal and bid writing/reviews.
• Deliver 60–80% of time on planning and project controls; rest of time on growth.
• Collaborate with SLT in NR North cost centre and UK programme controls.
• Mentoring and coaching.
