Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Project Controls Manager to lead a multi-functional controls team on major UK construction programmes. You will develop baselines, monitor progress and drive delivery through robust cost and schedule control.

With expertise in planning, estimating, risk management and stakeholder engagement, you will work closely with clients and principal contractors to realise project objectives and maintain schedule and cash-flow KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivering controls on major projects/programmes.
• Experience in leading a multi-functional controls team.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction management.
• Experience leading collaborative workshops.

Responsibilities

• Embed a robust WBS, integrating controls data.
• Lead estimating to establish a market-tested cost baseline.
• Lead planning to baseline master schedule and procurement.
• Manage stakeholders with sign-off and progress reporting.
• Guide contractors to meet schedule and cash-flow KPIs.
• Control costs using containment principles and governance.
• Apply quality checks to the master program.
• Lead change management workflows for timely approvals.
• Identify deviations and report remedial actions.
