Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field required.
• Graduate degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years in a project controls role in construction.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project control strategies to optimize performance, timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define objectives, scope, deliverables and KPIs.
• Create detailed schedules using industry-standard software, considering critical path and resources.
• Monitor progress against baselines, identify deviations, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead regular status meetings and provide reports on schedule, cost variance, earned value, and risk.
• Offer advice on cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management.
• Develop change management processes for scope changes with impact analysis and approvals.
• Support contingency planning, risk mitigation, and recovery strategies.
• Analyze project data to facilitate decision-making and provide insights.
• Train and mentor team members on project controls methodologies and tools.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, applying them to processes.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply where required.
