Job summary

Dartmouth College seeks an Associate Director, Annual Giving to lead donor solicitation and manage annual fund campaigns in partnership with the executive director of annual giving and Tuck. You will guide strategy, cultivate donors, and coordinate volunteer efforts to support Dartmouth's fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Experience raising annual fund gifts for selective higher education institutions or similar donor/relationship management experience.
• Knowledge of higher education philanthropy, administration, and fundraising trends.
• Willingness to travel to meet donors and attend fundraising events.
• Ability to contribute to a diverse, inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and professionals.
• Ability to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed donor expectations and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Gift solicitation and commitments for annual fund gifts (70%).
• Volunteer management: direct fundraising strategy and activities for assigned classes (15%).
• Donor prospect identification and cultivation (10%).
• Team development and knowledge sharing within advancement initiatives (5%).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
