Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six years’ fundraising experience with at least four years in a university development operation.
• Proven ability to solicit and close six- and seven-figure gifts.
• Ability to interact with senior administrators, trustees and high-level volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and steward restricted and unrestricted gifts from assigned prospects.
• Work with Executive Director and staff to increase visibility in the West Coast region.
• Organize, train and support volunteers to engage and solicit leadership prospects.
• Plan and oversee development events and donor stewardship activities.
• Identify prospects, prepare materials, and coordinate proposals and briefings for senior staff.
