Job summary

Dartmouth College is seeking an Associate Director of Planned Giving in Lebanon, NH to oversee estate and trust administration, complex gift administration, and related operations for the Office of Planned Giving at Dartmouth Health and Geisel School of Medicine.

Reporting to the Director, Planned Giving, you will advise frontline fundraising colleagues, manage a marketing program for planned gifts, and develop an annual calendar of print and digital appeals. Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Experience in planned giving and estate administration preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, proof, and execute gift calculations and bequest language.
• Advise fundraisers on planned gift strategies.
• Coordinate with attorneys and estate executors.
• Maintain donor data accuracy and compliance across systems.
• Develop and manage marketing calendar for planned gifts including web updates.
• Collaborate with Dartmouth Health and Geisel School teams to align priorities.
