Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) seeks a Senior Associate, Digital Finance to drive finance transformation across PE portfolio companies. You will implement digital tools to improve transparency, explainable analytics, and EBITDA improvements, working closely with client teams.

Ideal candidates bring experience with RPA, finance analytics, NLG, and predictive forecasting, plus a track record of leadership in large public corporations or PE-owned firms.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 4-year college or university in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Experience with digital finance technologies (RPA, predictive forecasting, finance analytics, NLG, data visualization).
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting/finance, financial due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity.
• Complete proficiency in understanding financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or master’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Hypothesis / scope development: connect with client to gather data and define analyses.
• Lead client interviews and ensure data coverage.
• Develop actionable conclusions from analyses and manage cross-functional workstreams.
• Apply industry knowledge to identify drivers and issues; manage project risks.
• Lead portions of projects and supervise smaller engagements.
• Design cash-generating initiatives and EBITDA improvements.
• Collaborate with senior management and secure buy-in from executives.
