Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) seeks a Senior Associate, Digital Finance to drive digital finance transformation and implement finance analytics tools in PE-owned portfolio companies. You will assess finance functions, build predictive forecasting models, and lead process improvements across accounting and finance operations.

Applicants should have 2–4 years in finance, a strong grasp of financial modeling, and familiarity with PE-driven environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 4-year college or university, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Experience with digital finance technologies (RPA, predictive forecasting, finance analytics, NLG, data visualization).
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting/finance, financial due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity.
• Complete proficiency in understanding financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or master's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Connect with client to facilitate information gathering and lead interviews.
• Define analyses needed to prove or disprove assumptions with timely execution.
• Develop actionable conclusions from analyses and manage cross-functional components.
• Lead portions of projects with multiple service lines and manage smaller projects independently.
• Design cash-generating initiatives, EBITDA improvements, and optimal organizational structure.
