Job summary

Kennesaw State University invites applications for an Associate Dean for Student Success and Engagement in the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

This twelve-month, tenured faculty leadership role will guide student success initiatives and engagement across multiple departments with a start date anticipated for July 1, 2027, located at the KSU campuses in Georgia. The position requires a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., or its foreign equivalent, and an academic background to be tenured Professor in one of the School/Departments in the Radow College at KSU.
• Demonstrated record of leadership experience in higher education.
• Demonstrated commitment to student success and engagement in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development, planning, and implementation of all Student Success Initiatives in collaboration with College leadership and departments.
• Collaborates on mapping college initiatives to the university strategic plan and data gathering for initiatives.
• Promotes undergraduate research and career development initiatives for students.
• Serves as liaison with campus partners and supports student-focused events and programs.
• Responds to academic integrity issues and student complaints/appeals.
• Oversees scholarships and annual student award selection process.
