Job summary

Kennesaw State University invites applications for a tenured Professor and Associate Dean of Research and Academics in the Robert S. Geer Family College of the Arts. This twelve-month role is based in Georgia, with a preferred start date January 2027. Regular and full-time position, performing duties at the KSU campuses.

The appointee will lead college research, graduate initiatives, curriculum reviews, and governance, while guiding academic strategy and policy in partnership with the Dean.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree or foreign equivalent to be a tenured Professor in the Robert S. Geer Family College of the Arts.
• A distinguished record of nationally and internationally recognized research in the applicant's discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years demonstrated success advancing faculty research across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for faculty research and scholarly activity and coordinate college research initiatives.
• Support graduate initiatives, program development, and graduate assistantship coordination.
• Lead curriculum proposals, revisions, accreditation, and assessment processes.
• Oversee undergraduate research, digital learning, global education, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide college-wide academic planning, governance, policy development, and representation; teaching assignments aligned with credentials.
