Job summary

Blackstone seeks a Capital Markets professional to support the BXCI team in debt financing, financial modeling, and bank relationship management. You will collaborate with portfolio and banking teams to structure financing solutions and assist with bond issuances for BXCI funds.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in investment banking, private equity, or credit asset management, plus strong Excel/PowerPoint and data analysis skills. A proactive, detail-oriented, team player mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, credit asset management, or consulting.
• Strong analytical, modeling, data management, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to drive processes independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in leveraging AI/automation to improve workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on debt financings for single-asset and portfolio transactions, including modeling and lender diligence.
• Collaborate with portfolio management and banking teams to build efficient financing structures.
• Support debt and equity capital markets activities, including private and public bond issuance.
• Prepare materials and market updates for debt investors, rating agencies, banks, fund boards, and internal committees.
• Engage in meetings with bank partners and provide briefing notes for senior management.
• Interface with capital raising and distribution partners, risk, middle office/operations, and custodians.
• Conduct ongoing liability management and analysis of financing and capital structures for BXCI’s funds.
• Manage data analysis and rating agency interactions to receive and maintain asset ratings.
• Assist with organization of team project pipeline and ensure opportunities and timelines are tracked.
• Collaborate with internal BX teams to design and implement AI-enabled tools and drive adoption.
• Develop relationships with banks, insurers, and other financing sources for BXCI funds.
• Provide general support to capital markets and financing functions.
