Job summary

Blackstone seeks a Capital Markets Analyst to support the BXCI team in debt financing, bank relations, and market communications. You will model, structure, and negotiate credit documents, while coordinating with portfolio, risk, and operations teams to optimize financing structures and capital deployment.

The role emphasizes experience in debt markets, strong analytical and communication skills, and a drive to leverage AI to improve processes. NYC-based preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, credit asset management, or consulting.
• Experience in debt capital markets, credit investing, and structured finance preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, financial analysis, modeling, data management, and presentation skills.
• Ability to drive processes independently while being a strong team player.
• Interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve workflow efficiency and reduce errors.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work on debt financings for single-asset and portfolio transactions, including modeling and negotiations.
• Collaborate with portfolio management and banking teams to build financing structures.
• Support debt and equity capital markets activities, including bond issuances.
• Prepare materials and market updates for debt investors, rating agencies, banks, and committees.
• Engage with bank partners and maintain engagement data for BXCI bank relationships.
• Interface with capital raising, portfolio managers, risk, and operations teams.
• Conduct ongoing liability management and analysis of financing and capital structures.
• Manage data analysis and rating agency interactions for financing vehicles.
• Organize team project pipelines and ensure accessibility of materials and timelines.
• Collaborate to design and implement AI-enabled tools to drive adoption and efficiency.
• Develop new relationships with banks, insurers, and other financing opportunities.
