Job summary

Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI) is seeking a Senior Associate in Asset Allocation based in New York, NY. You will deliver investment management expertise to insurer clients as a key member of the BXCI team, shaping asset allocation frameworks across portfolios and applying Blackstone’s platform to regulatory and liability needs.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel modeling, and proficiency in fixed income, derivatives, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in investment management.
• 3+ years analyzing investment performance and market trends with Excel.
• 2+ years trading across fixed income, futures, forwards, options, swaps, and fund vehicles.
• 2+ years portfolio risk management for multiple client portfolios, including insurers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver investment management expertise to insurance clients as a key member of the BXCI investment team.
• Shape asset allocation frameworks across insurance portfolios, integrating Blackstone's investment platform into insurer-focused solutions aligned with regulatory, capital, and liability needs.
• Lead asset allocation analysis across public and private asset classes, factoring in capital efficiency, liquidity, duration, and regulatory constraints.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk characteristics, and compliance with client investment guidelines and insurance regulatory standards.
• Draft investment memoranda, client presentations, and diligence materials.
