Job summary

Raymond James is seeking an experienced operations specialist to deliver expert client services and cross-team support in a hybrid environment. In-office days are three per week at St.

Petersburg, FL, Memphis, TN, or Southfield, MI, enabling collaboration with colleagues while maintaining flexible work arrangements. You will mentor junior staff, handle complex inquiries, process regulatory tasks, and help improve workflows with a client‑first mindset in the financial services space.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• General experience of 7–12 months in a relevant role.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for internal/external clients including financial advisors and sales assistants.
• Independently process and answer moderately complex questions with data-driven action.
• Identify root causes and implement pragmatic solutions for client needs.
• Provide mentoring and training support to less experienced associates.
• Maintain recordkeeping practices and ensure timely completion of client requests.
• Support department workflows and assist with policy/procedure improvements.
