Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is expanding its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) – CFO Services team in the United States. The PEPI CFO Services Associate will lead time‑sensitive projects, develop findings, and deliver strategic recommendations to clients.

The role requires deep finance and accounting knowledge, strong modeling ability, and experience with data tools; travel up to 80% is expected. CPA background is a plus and salary ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 with discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four‑year institution.
• Strong expertise with data and analytics tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau.
• Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time at short or immediate notice.

Responsibilities

• Structure work plans and manage time‑sensitive projects through completion.
• Develop findings and make strategic recommendations.
• Perform financial modeling and cash‑flow analysis; experience with Tableau/think‑cell is a plus.
• Support treasury, cash management and systems implementation initiatives.
• Synthesize insights from data to deliver client recommendations.
