Job summary

EY-Parthenon’s Deals – Financial Diligence – Buy Side is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Boston-based team. You’ll analyze financial data, identify value drivers, and support due diligence across large multinational deals with private equity clients.

You’ll partner with management to challenge assumptions, draft findings, and help shape transaction strategies. A CPA and 2+ years of public accounting experience are preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle financial due diligence engagements.
• Experience analyzing financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired or sold through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management.
• Ability to identify negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring.
• Up to date knowledge on industry trends and technologies, as well as seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements to provide knowledge and insight to clients.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including the ability to process, manipulate and concisely present large amounts of data; knowledge of Alteryx and Microsoft Power Bi is a plus.

• As a Senior Associate you will execute financial diligence project work and analyze financial data to identify key performance drivers.
• Discuss forecasts with management and draft findings and recommendations.
• Help develop staff and ensure career progression within the team.
