New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM) is seeking a Senior Associate to support origination, underwriting, and portfolio management workflows across private investment-grade transactions. You will translate investment team needs into scalable reporting, dashboards, and technology solutions.

You will partner with Investments and IT to enhance platforms, develop data integrations, and roll out AI-enabled tools for credit memo drafting and covenant monitoring while ensuring accurate, timely

Qualifications

8+ years in investment management or business analytics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with investment systems and data platforms.
SQL or Python for data integration and reporting.
Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Support origination, underwriting, and portfolio management workflows across private investment-grade transactions.
Gather business requirements and translate needs into scalable reporting and dashboards.
Build tools and analyses for underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio surveillance.
Own deal and portfolio management platforms; reduce manual data gathering.
