Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly skilled Senior Associate Attorney specializing in Removal and USCIS to join their dynamic legal team in Irving, TX. This full-time role involves leading complex immigration cases and providing strategic guidance to junior attorneys.
Duties
- Lead and manage complex deportation/removal defense and advanced immigration litigation cases.
- Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and the Board of Immigration Appeals in high-stakes matters.
- Develop and execute legal strategies for cases involving criminal bars, fraud issues, and complex eligibility challenges.
- Act as lead attorney and final decision-maker in critical court and agency appearances.
- Provide advanced guidance to Associate Attorneys and Paralegals.
- Collaborate with the Managing Attorney on firm-wide litigation strategy and best practices.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in good standing.
- At least 7 years of extensive experience in U.S. immigration law, focusing on deportation/removal defense and complex litigation.
- Experience with BIA appeals, complex waivers, and cases involving criminal or fraud-related issues.
- Strong experience appearing before EOIR and USCIS.
- Advanced legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage a highly complex caseload and provide strategic legal leadership.
- Strong commitment to ethical standards and professional responsibility.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
