Protouch Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Immigration Attorney to join a growing immigration practice. The role offers fully remote or hybrid work options with leadership over a live docket and a team of attorneys and paralegals.

The candidate will drive strategy for USCIS, humanitarian, and removal-defense matters, supervise two attorneys, and oversee related petitions, hearings, and EOIR work. Texas bar preferred, otherwise eligible in the U.S.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Own a USCIS, humanitarian, and removal-defense docket from strategy through filing and hearing.
• Supervise two attorneys and the paralegals assigned to each of them.
• Cover family petitions and adjustment, waivers, asylum/WOR/CAT, cancellation, bonds, detained work, naturalization, RFEs/NOIDs, motions, and EOIR practice.
• Decide case theory, evidence gaps, and what gets filed.
• Review drafts before they leave the firm.
• Keep MyCase and the production calendar current. No orphan deadlines.

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SENIOR IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY to join their growing immigration practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Fully remote or hybrid (Irving / Dallas / Fort Worth).
• This is a managing-attorney seat, not an associate drafting seat. The hire owns a live docket and directs the lawyers and paralegals under them.
• Own a USCIS, humanitarian, and removal-defense docket from strategy through filing and hearing.
• Supervise two attorneys and the paralegals assigned to each of them.
• Cover family petitions and adjustment, waivers, asylum/WOR/CAT, cancellation, bonds, detained work, naturalization, RFEs/NOIDs, motions, and EOIR practice.
• Decide case theory, evidence gaps, and what gets filed.=
• Review drafts before they leave the firm.
• Handle hard client conversations. Contain the matter and report facts up. Do not commit the firm to money or blame.
• Keep MyCase and the production calendar current. No orphan deadlines.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing.
• Required: 10+ years across USCIS, humanitarian, and removal defense;active license; EOIR authority; proven supervision of attorneys and paralegals.
• Preferred: Texas bar or Board Certification in Immigration and Nationality Law; managing-attorney experience; detained and non-detained hearings. Spanish useful, not required.
