The candidate will guide strategy, oversee major court and agency appearances, and collaborate on firm-wide litigation best practices, ensuring ethical, high-quality advocacy.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• At least 7 years of extensive experience in U.S. immigration law, with emphasis on deportation/removal defense and complex litigation.
• Experience with BIA appeals, I-601/I-212 waivers, and cases involving criminal or fraud issues.
• Strong experience appearing before EOIR and USCIS.
• Advanced legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate attorney (Removal and USCIS) to join our dynamic legal team in a full-time capacity.

The Senior Associate Attorney is a subject matter expert responsible for leading the firm's most complex and high-stakes immigration cases, including advanced litigation and appeals. This role also serves as a strategic and mentorship resource for Associate Attorneys, ensuring strong case strategy, legal quality, and consistency across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex deportation/removal defense and advanced immigration litigation cases.
• Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) in high-stakes matters.
• Develop and execute legal strategies for cases involving criminal bars, fraud issues, and complex eligibility challenges.
• Act as lead attorney and final decision-maker in critical court and agency appearances.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide advanced guidance to Associate Attorneys and Paralegals.
• Collaborate with the Managing Attorney on firm-wide litigation strategy and best practices.
