Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to manage civil and commercial litigation from inception through resolution. The attorney will represent clients across construction, real estate, business, contract, and related disputes while independently handling pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial processes.

The role requires 10–15 years of civil/commercial litigation experience and an active Colorado Bar admission with eligibility to practice in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage civil and commercial litigation matters from case evaluation through settlement, mediation, arbitration or trial
• Represent clients in construction, real estate, business, contract, general liability and related disputes
• Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, negotiations and other phases of litigation
• Develop case strategy and communicate directly with clients regarding legal options, risks and potential outcomes
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff while providing guidance and mentorship to less-experienced attorneys

The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, sound judgment and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive legal team.

Senior Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

• Independently manage civil and commercial litigation matters from case evaluation through settlement, mediation, arbitration or trial

• Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, negotiations and other phases of litigation

Senior Associate Attorney Requirements:

• Significant experience with depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediation and settlement negotiations; trial experience strongly preferred
• Experience in construction, real estate, commercial/business disputes, contract litigation or mechanic's lien matters strongly preferred
