Closr seeks an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join our growing Denver, Colorado legal team. This role focuses on high‑level insurance-related litigation, including coverage disputes, personal injury, and bad faith matters, with practical responsibility across pre-litigation through trial and appeal.

Local to Denver and 100% onsite, you will draft motions, take depositions, defend claims, and provide strategic client guidance in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from ABA-accredited law school.
• 3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm.
• Local to the Denver, Colorado area; 100% onsite with no relocation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and defend first- and third-party insurance claims
• Handle personal injury, construction, premises liability, coverage disputes, and bad faith matters
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft dispositive motions and coverage opinions
• Attend hearings in state and federal courts
• Conduct examinations under oath
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis
• Provide pre-litigation evaluations and strategic recommendations, and communicate directly with clients

Job description

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join a growing legal team in Denver, Colorado.

The firm has spent nearly three decades building a dedicated litigation practice out of Denver's Tech Center, with a focus on becoming the last firm a client ever needs to call. The team works high-level litigation in a focused, hands-on environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance-related litigation, including coverage disputes, personal injury matters, premises liability, and bad faith claims, along with exposure to construction or commercial litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility across the full lifecycle of litigation, from pre-litigation analysis and client recommendations through trial and appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and defend first- and third-party insurance claims
• Handle personal injury, construction, premises liability, coverage disputes, and bad faith matters
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft dispositive motions and coverage opinions

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years of solid litigation experience, preferably involving insurance matters
• Experience with coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, and/or bad faith claims
• Experience in construction matters or commercial litigation
• Experience defending first- and third-party claims
• Strong deposition and motion practice experience

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Local to the Denver, Colorado area, this role is 100% onsite with no relocation
