Job summary

The University of South Alabama's Athletics department seeks a Senior Associate Athletic Director, Championship Resources to lead revenue-generation and philanthropy initiatives.

In this role you will cultivate donors, oversee Jaguar Athletic Fund and Loyal, Strong & Faithful Fund, manage ticketing and corporate partnerships, and shape multi-year revenue strategies in collaboration with executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and seven years of progressively responsible professional experience in intercollegiate athletics, fundraising and development, sales, business development, revenue generation, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred and may substitute for one year of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership for the department’s revenue-generating efforts.
• Oversees philanthropic giving through the Jaguar Athletic Fund (JAF) and revenue-sharing through Loyal, Strong & Faithful Fund (LSF); ticket sales and operations; corporate partnerships through Jaguar Sports Properties (JSP); premium seating and hospitality; special events; and other revenue-generating initiatives.
• Develops an integrated approach to sustainable revenue growth, establishes measurable goals and performance expectations, evaluates results, identifies new opportunities, and coordinates efforts across all Championship Resources functions.
• Serves as a highly visible representative of the University, cultivating donors, alumni, supporters, and stakeholders to create long-term engagement and investment in South Alabama Athletics.
• Works as a member of the department’s senior leadership team, contributing to strategy, decision-making, and priorities; develops and leads revenue strategy across the department.
• Establishes revenue goals, monitors results, forecasts, and provides analysis to the Director of Athletics; aligns strategies with departmental priorities and changing needs.
