Job summary

Elanco in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Senior Associate in Analytical Development to join the Syn.TD group. You will perform analytical testing and data generation for the small molecule portfolio from early- to late-stage development.

You will collaborate with the formulation team, contribute to method development and validation, present findings to cross-functional teams, and maintain a safe, compliant lab while mentoring analysts. Hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree with 1–2 years experience OR Bachelor’s with 5–6 years experience in pharmaceutical analytics.
• Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry with core techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, Karl Fischer, and dissolution.
• GxP regulations and good documentation practices including ELN.

Responsibilities

• Execute analytical testing (HPLC/UPLC, Dissolution, KF) for small molecule portfolio with data integrity.
• Develop, qualify, and validate analytical methods for product development from early to late stages.
• Analyze data, document results, and present findings to cross‑functional teams.
