Job summary

Elanco, a global leader in animal health, seeks a Senior Associate in Analytical Development to support the Syn.TD group. You will perform bench-based analytical testing, method development, qualification, and data reporting to advance small molecule programs.

Collaborating with formulation teams, you will ensure data integrity under GxP, present findings to cross-functional teams, and help train analysts in analytical techniques in Indianapolis in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree with 1-2 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree with 5-6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical analytical lab.
• Strong working knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques (HPLC/UPLC, Karl Fischer, dissolution).
• Knowledge of GxP regulations and electronic lab notebook usage.

Responsibilities

• Execute Analytical Testing: perform complex analytical testing for small molecule portfolio.
• Method Development & Qualification: assist in development, qualification, and validation of analytical methods.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: document, analyze, and present analytical data to cross-functional teams.
• Laboratory Operations & Compliance: maintain safe, compliant lab environment; manage equipment & reagents.
• Collaboration & Training: partner with formulation team and train fellow analysts.
