Job summary

Manay CPA Accounting & Tax Services is seeking an accountant to prepare journal entries, consolidate multi-entity reports, and support international financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS. The role requires Turkish language fluency and robust knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities include tax filing documentation, audits support, and intercompany reconciliations, with telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the continental U.S. reporting to Marietta, GA headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or foreign equivalent) and two years of related accounting experience.
• Fluency in Turkish required.
• Experience with U.S., Turkish GAAP, and IFRS standards and internal controls.

• Prepares and records journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and perform account analysis and variance explanations.
• Prepare documentation for federal, state, and local tax filings, including gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial data required for tax compliance.
• Assist with audit activities by preparing documentation, workpapers, and supporting schedules, and explanations for internal and external audits.
• Complete accounting tasks related to multi-entity operations, including preparation of intercompany transaction support schedules and reconciliations.
• Telecommuting permitted; may work from anywhere in the continental U.S. but reports to headquarters in Marietta, GA.

Job Duties
Prepares and record journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and perform account analysis and variance explanations. Prepare documentation for federal, state, and local tax filings, including gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial data required for tax compliance. Assist with audit activities by preparing documentation, workpapers, and supporting schedules, and explanations for internal and external audits. Complete accounting tasks related to multi-entity operations, including preparation of intercompany transaction support schedules and reconciliations. Support financial reporting processes involving international operations by preparing schedules related to currency translation and consolidated reporting, including reviewing financial data prepared under Turkish GAAP and IFRS, supporting reconciliation to U.S. GAAP reporting requirements. Telecommuting permitted: employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Marietta, Georgia.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or foreign equivalent) and two (2) years of related accounting experience, including experience with U.S., Turkish GAAP, and IFRS standards, assessments of financial statements and internal controls, and evaluation of compliance and risk management processes. Fluency in Turkish language required.
