Princess Cruises is seeking a Sr Assistant Purser (Japanese Speaking) for a fixed term contract aboard our ships. The role splits leadership between Guest Services and Crew Office, driving service excellence, guest satisfaction, and crew welfare in a dynamic onboard environment.

The ideal candidate will lead a diverse team, mentor staff, and ensure accurate guest folio management and compliance with safety and policy standards at sea.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, tourism, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the cruise industry, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
• Experience in crew management or overseeing a large team of staff in a customer service-oriented environment.
• Proven background in guest services, human resources, or operational management on board a cruise ship.
• Leadership and team management: Ability to manage, motivate, and develop a diverse team of crew members from various backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Japanese Languages.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Guest Services operations and oversee the Guest Services Desk, CrewCall Chat, and Telephone Center.
• Coach and mentor team members to deliver personalized, frictionless guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies in guest folio management and onboard transactions.
• Drive service excellence, operational efficiency, and team development onboard.
• Collaborate with shipboard departments to resolve guest issues and improve satisfaction.
• Oversee Crew Office operations including onboarding, offboarding, and crew records management.
