Princess Cruises is seeking an Assistant Purser (Japanese Speaking) to support Guest Services or Administrative functions onboard. The role involves supervising Guest Services Officers, coordinating documentation, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies, financial controls, and safety standards.

The position may be assigned to either Guest Services or Administration and could include night-shift duties as a Night Manager to oversee overnight hotel operations and guest service continuity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized hotel or business school or 2-year experience as Front Desk Supervisor or Assistant Manager.
• Cruise ship experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Front Desk computer-based programs and MS Office.
• Specific experience and knowledge in immigration and clearance requirements within the US and worldwide.
• Excellent command of the English and Japanese languages, both verbal and written.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support Guest Services Officers or coordinate administrative processes related to guest movement, compliance, and reporting.
• Assist in delivering service and product knowledge training to Guest Services Officers.
• Assist the Guest Services Manager in scheduling staff to optimize coverage and maintain service standards.
• Coordinate transfers with Port Agents and ensure proper documentation for guests joining at Wayports.
• Meet with shoreside embarkation teams prior to embarkation to provide documentation guidance.
• Be present in the terminal during embarkation and disembarkation to assist ground handlers and check-in supervisors.
