Job summary

Superior, based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a Senior Assistant Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager to drive electrical construction projects forward.

You will support contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration while helping make on-site operations more efficient. This role reports to the Project Manager and is located on a jobsite in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with a compensation range of $65,000 to $110,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction or project operations experience on a commercial jobsite (including internship).
• Degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field; or a Construction Management certificate.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the creation and submission of RFIs and ensure RFIs are integrated into project documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors on the lifecycle of the project submittal process.
• Support creation, submission, and management of change orders.
• Capture progress by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite.
• Monitor the project schedule and report to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership.
• Work with the Foreman on delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsite.
• Lead project close-out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as-builds, and attic stock.
• Develop an understanding of project finance with Project Operations and Finance leadership.
