University of Delaware in Newark, DE seeks a Senior Assistant Dean of Student Services to lead the Student Success Center for CEOE. You will supervise staff, guide faculty on student issues, and coordinate with university offices on admissions, registration, and degree audits to ensure student progress and successful degree completion.

The role focuses on enrollment management, program development, and outreach to high schools and community colleges.

Formación

• Master’s degree and six years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of best practices in academic advisement, development, and retention issues at the university level.
• Advanced knowledge of University curriculum, academic policies and procedures, and student services resources.
• Knowledge of computerized student information systems and database management.
• Knowledge of community outreach and student recruitment principles and techniques.
• Budget preparation and management skills.
• Ability to interpret higher education laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to plan, develop, and implement strategic plans and programs.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in academic program planning, development, and administration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Student Success Center for the College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment.
• Manage student services and advisement for all academic units and monitor progress.
• Supervise the staff of the Student Success/Services center.
• Provide guidance to faculty on student issues and referrals.
• Develop strategic initiatives to increase visibility and growth of CEOE programs.
• Represent the college on university-wide committees and councils.
• Collaborate with Registrar, Admissions, Graduate College, and other offices.
• Prepare reports related to student education and research.
• Oversee Curriculog and curriculum approval processes.
• Ensure advisors complete senior checks and certifying graduation requirements.
• Identify at-risk students and plan interventions with college representatives.
