Unitus Community Credit Union is seeking a Manager - Assistant Controller to lead the accounting department with care, clarity, and accountability. You will oversee general ledger, regulatory reporting, payroll, and year-end close, while partnering with Finance and the CFO on budgets and internal controls.

The role emphasizes staff development, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• BS in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience including GAAP reporting.
• At least 3 years in supervisory role.
• Experience with general ledger and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead core accounting operations and internal controls.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting and regulatory filings.
• Oversee payroll operations and journal entries.
• Coordinate year-end close and budget processes.
