Job summary

Polymarket is seeking an Assistant Controller to own US GAAP close processes across entities, strengthen the SOX control framework, and oversee regulatory filings. The role requires CPA licensure, deep GAAP knowledge, and fintech/regulatory experience, with hands-on crypto settlement and high-transaction-volume exposure.

You’ll collaborate with legal and compliance, drive process improvements, and mentor junior accountants in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• CPA licensed and actively in good standing.
• 8–15 years in progressive accounting roles, fintech or regulated financial services.
• Hands-on experience with high-volume fintech environments and crypto settlements.

Responsibilities

• Own month, quarter, and year-end close under US GAAP, including subsidiaries.
• Maintain and expand SOX controls as product lines grow.
• Apply ASC 606, ASC 805, ASC 350-60 and document conclusions clearly.
