Job summary

Privia Health is seeking an Assistant Controller to scale financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and lead remote accounting teams. The role focuses on GAAP reporting, technical accounting guidance, and ERP transitions, with ample interaction across FP&A, treasury, and audits.

The position offers a base salary of $150,000–$175,000 per year plus a 15% target annual bonus, plus comprehensive benefits. Remote work is supported nationally, with strong governance and SOX oversight.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience combining public accounting and public company roles.
• CPA certification is required.
• Experience with U.S. GAAP and SOX 404.
• Healthcare or health-tech background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct month-, quarter-, and year-end closes to GAAP-compliant statements.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for all units.
• Lead M&A integration accounting and post-close alignment.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on ASC 805/606/842.
• Manage remote accounting team and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support SEC filings.
